The Better
Question

Written for those who hold an opposing ideology. Two approaches to the same question: what is the best way to govern ourselves in a thriving, prosperous world — for all? Fear no question. The observation is the authority. Right is Might, is enough for me.

The Guided
Sages

Fifteen thinkers across four centuries whose work forms the intellectual bedrock of everything in this Library. Not chosen for fame. Chosen because they were right — usually long before anyone agreed with them. Their lives are the proof of concept.

Francis Bacon

Declared war on inherited authority. Demanded truth from direct observation. The Authentic Method is his lineage.

The Pattern · Why It Matters

Suppressed.
Vindicated.
Every Time.

The Sages were not chosen because they were famous. They were chosen because the institutions of their era tried to silence them — and failed. That pattern is the founding argument of this entire Library.

Core Argument · The Scholastic Trap
Expert Systems Protect Themselves

When an institution chooses narrative over truth, it reveals its real purpose. The Sages proved it across four centuries.

Core Argument · Right Is Might
Character Over Credential

Franklin had no degree. Lincoln educated himself by firelight. Washington handed back power when offered a crown. Authority earned, not issued.

Sage I · The Patriarch · Why Bacon

The Man Who
Built the
Method.

"He that will not apply new remedies must expect new evils; for time is the greatest innovator." Bacon didn't just argue for empiricism — he declared war on inherited authority at a time when such a declaration carried real personal cost. He lost his office. He died in debt. History vindicated every word.

His Founding Principle
Nullius in Verba

Take nobody's word for it. Observe. Test. Conclude. The Royal Society adopted it as their motto. Tymmber adopted it as a standard. The lineage is direct.

The Connection · TAM
The Authentic Method Is His Lineage

Every one of the 16 TAM assessment points traces back to Bacon's demand that truth be earned through evidence, not awarded through credential.

Creek Summer

A Story of Two Brothers, One Dog, and the Best Summer Ever

Written by Greg Gudorf  ·  Art by FLOW  ·  Advisory Seat Two

Set in the creekside hills above Lake Poway, this is a ten-chapter children's book built around a simple premise: going outside changes you. Two brothers. One summer. Ten moments that require a choice. The lessons don't come from a classroom — they come from a wasp nest, a broken fence, a red marble, and the honest reckoning that only the outdoors can produce.

Fish Taco
Chronicles

America's Fishing Newspaper — Thirty Years in Print

Founded by Shawn Arnold & Leonard Davenport  ·  Huntington Beach, CA  ·  A Tymmber Outdoor Publication

What started in 1995 as a way to go fishing and tell their wives they were working became one of the most recognized fishing publications on the West Coast. Sport fishing in Sitka. Fly fishing the Green River. The best fish taco in California. When Del Taco launched its fish taco promotion, they came to Fish Taco Chronicles first. That kind of cultural credibility is built one issue at a time — and it belongs in the Tymmber ecosystem, paired with the hardware that was made for exactly this world.

Nine years. Thirty thousand miles. A thousand nights outside. The Franklin Library is what happens when you spend nearly a decade testing ideas against reality instead of against other ideas — and decide to put the results somewhere people can find them. Not a syllabus. Not a curriculum. A library. You take what's useful and leave the rest.
